Displays the list of available components to select testing.
Use the scroll bar to navigate up or down
Individual Component Test Panel
1) Test Status Box- Displays a color that refers to the current status of the test: PASS, FAIL, STANDBY, TESTING.
2) Component Icon
3) Component Description
4) Component Test Enable/Disable- A check in the checkbox enables extended testing for component.
5) Component Details – Depending on the component, will display serial number, manufacturer info or size of component.
6) Information Button- Use this button to display additional detail regarding component. See image below for example.
Test List Status Panel
1) Component Test List - Display all test components
2) Test Status - Display number of loops that Passed or Failed
Unit Under Test Panel
1) Utilities
a. System Information – Collects & creates an HTML system information report.
b. System Event Calendar – Displays a yearly calendar with color-coded event logs
c. Compare- Compares two hardware snapshots & highlights differences.
2) Start / Stop Button- Starts / Stops testing.
3) Adv. Configuration Button - Provides advanced configuration options to specify:
a. Test Method (Parallel or Sequential)
b. QTWP Mode (Power mode)
c. Test Interval Configuration (Set by Loops or Minutes)
d. Error Handling
e. Reporting Location
4) UUT / SUT Information- Displays unit under test / system under test information such as make, model, serial, windows version and windows product key.
5) Warranty status- Warranty status. (Supports HP & Dell models only)
Individual Component Configuration
Before running QTW testing, you will need to configure test parameters for each component you select to test.
To configure test parameters for each component, click the double down arrow button. See image below.
Once you click on the double arrow Configuration button, the Extended Test Panel will appear to the right.
To save test configuration click the “Apply” button.
